The movie follows 19-year-old roller rink manager Ritchie Wheeler who is forced to look at his life in a very new way. Shiloh Fernandez, who shares screen with Amanda Seyfried in "Red Riding Hood", takes this lead role, while Ashley Greene portrays his frustrated love interest Michelle Burkham.

"Skateland" is directed by Anthony Burns who also writes the script along with Brandon Freeman and Heath Freeman. The drama movie was premiered at 2010 Sundance Film Festival where it was nominated for Grand Jury Prize. It will be released in limited U.S. theaters on March 25.
