AceShowbiz - As planned before, the most-anticipated first trailer for "Green Lantern" has made its way out on November 16. Debuted by Apple, the teaser trailer follows the ordinary life of Hal Jordan as a test pilot and how he now has a big responsibility after a dying alien named Abin Sur gives him a green energy-powered ring used to protect the planet.
Hal now joins the Green Lantern Corps, a brotherhood of warriors sworn to keep intergalactic order as the first human ever selected. As a new enemy called Parallax threatens to destroy the balance of power in the universe, the fate of Earth lies in Hal's hands.
Ryan Reynolds leads in "Green Lantern", starring opposite Blake Lively who is cast as Hal Jordan's love interest Carol Ferris. Mark Strong and Peter Sarsgaard star as villainous characters Sinestro and Hector Hammond respectively.
This Martin Campbell-directed action movie is set to be unleashed in theaters across the nation on June 17, 2011.
