A backstage fallout between Ramona Singer and one of Shed Media staff was allegedly not part of the show.

AceShowbiz - Drama unfolds on "The Real Housewives of New York City" weeks before the show is reaching the screen. Cast member Ramona Singer reportedly threw tantrum behind the scene and slapped one of the producers.

Life and Style's source said, "During filming, Ramona [Singer] slapped one of the producers from Shed Media, the company that produces the reality show. It got very out of hand. What a way to start off the season, huh!"

Another source revealed that "Ramona has been acting out physically and emotionally." But it is said that the slapping is not part of the story line for the show. "It's crazy; everyone involved in the show has been talking about it," the source added. "What seems to be going on with her lately is unclear, but she's been very erratic."

If indeed true, the backstage scuffle is not the only problem faced by "The Real Housewives of NYC". A set of filming equipments as well as crew's wallets were stolen from the crew van which was parked alongside the ballroom entrance of Manhattan's Pierre Hotel. Ramona and her co-stars were partying inside the venue for Emperor's Brand launch of Giorgio G Cognac when the incident happened.

Police is still investigating the theft.
