Fred Armisen is now reportedly dating his "Saturday Night Live" co-star Abby Elliott, less than a week after an insider revealed that Fred split from his wife of 10 months, Elisabeth Moss. "They are together. It is very new," a source told E! Online.
Fred, who is 20 years older than Abby, was recently spotted at Reservoir restaurant in Los Angeles with the actress. On the outing, an eyewitness shared, "It was late at night. They were very cozy," adding "I thought, he's married to Elisabeth Moss. But now that I heard they split."
Fueling report that Fred and Abby are indeed an item, a source close to them told Life & Style, "They've known each other for a few years from being on 'SNL' together but after the split, Fred sought comfort in Abby. They just started dating a few months ago."
"Fred and Abby are getting to know each other in a romantic way and taking things slowly. But they're enjoying each other's company. It's early days," the source added. Meanwhile, a friend of Fred's then-lover Elisabeth said, "Elisabeth is doing great and focused on 'Mad Men' and is enjoying the single life. This news won't even phase her."
Fred Armisen and Elisabeth Moss wed in October 2009 but went their separate ways few months later. A source revealed, "Fred and Elisabeth separated in May. Fred is currently in Portland, Oregon on the set of his new series 'Portlandia'. Elisabeth is in L.A. focusing on her career and spending quiet time with friends."
