The first stills from "Burlesque" have made their ways out via USA Today. Capturing lead actress Christina Aguilera, some of the photos tease with sneak peek to her performances in the drama musical. Other pictures, meanwhile, feature Cher and Stanley Tucci, who are seen dealing with the costumes in one particular image.

In the film, Aguilera plays Ali, a small-town girl who tries to pursue her dreams in Los Angeles. Landing a job as a cocktail waitress in The Burlesque Lounge, a majestic but ailing theater headlined by Cher's Tess, Ali vows to perform there one day. With the help of a sharp-witted stage manager and gender-bending host, she makes her way from the bar to the stage and restores The Burlesque Lounge to its former glory.

"People think burlesque shows are rooted in some overtly sexual striptease with G-strings and pasties," director Steve Antin tells USA Today about what he wants to show with the film. "But originally it was parody entertainment meant for the middle classes that was provocative, funny and always based in comedy. That's not to say the movie isn't really sexy. But it's PG-13 sexy."

In addition to Christina Aguilera, Cher and Stanley Tucci, "Burlesque" will star Cam Gigandet, Eric Dane, Kristen Bell and Julianne Hough. Beside serving as helmer, Antin also writes the script alongside Diablo Cody, Keith Merryman and Susannah Grant. This Donald De Line-produced movie is due November 24 in the U.S.
