After together for almost three years, Orlando Bloom has finally decided to take his relationship with Miranda Kerr to the next level. Orlando's rep has confirmed to Entertainment Tonight that the actor has asked Miranda's hand in marriage, stating "Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr are getting married."

Moreover, Miranda's rep Carlii Lyon shared about how the model's family reacted to the engagement. Carlii revealed, "The entire Kerr family is thrilled with the news. It is a very exciting time for both of them."

Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr had dodged multiple engagement rumors throughout their relationship. In November 2008, the twosome shot down the Australian media Sunday's report that they were engaged, while in May the following year the model was spotted wearing what appeared to be an engagement ring in her left finger. But they occasionally debunked the stories.

However, during an interview with Page Six back in 2008, Miranda revealed that marriage eventually "will happen." She claimed, "I've always wanted kids, so... someday... eventually, yes, it will happen," adding "My ideal situation would be to live on a farm in a solar-powered house with a hammock and vegetable patch. When this is all over, that's where I'll be."
