Newly crowned Miss USA Rima Fakih is not dating Doug Reinhardt after all. Following swirling rumor which mentions Rima has been in romantic relationship with the ex-boyfriend of Paris Hilton, a source disclosed to E! News that Rima and Doug have never even met.

Report that Doug and Rima are dating was first run by Us Weekly. The publication claimed that Rima has been seeing Doug for a few weeks and they plan to get together when Rima flies out to L.A. next week.

"They met through friends and have been talking and seeing each other," a source told the publication. "He flew to NYC to do press [for his new show], but knew she would be here and they would get together. She's flying to L.A. to see him next week. It's very new, but they're having a good time. She made him watch the Miss U.S.A. pageant."

"He isn't jumping into anything. He's enjoying everything he's got going on right now," the source moreover explained. Meanwhile, a source close to Rima added, "She's crushing on Doug, but she recently broke up with her on and off again beau."

The dating story started surfacing likely because Doug has supposedly been talking to another Miss USA, a former one. A source told E! News that the 24-year-old reality TV star has spoken with 2009 Miss USA Kristen Dalton over a possible hosting gigs.

A source claimed that Kristen is the one who first made the call after hearing about Doug through mutual friends. "She said, 'We should meet up the next time I'm in town'," the source said. "She told Doug she's in an on/off relationship. But Doug doesn't care. She's the one who called him."

However, Kristen herself debunked the speculation. She insisted, "Doug and I were only talking professionally. I am with Reid [Rosenthal] and we are very serious about each other." The site further reported that her beau Reid was aware of the conversations.
