Despite seemingly becoming the last remaining member, The Pussycat Dolls' lead vocalist is excited to welcome new members and work with them for the band's next album.

AceShowbiz - For the very first time, Nicole Scherzinger talked about the line-up change in The Pussycat Dolls which will be announced by creator Robin Antin sometime soon. To MTV, the lead singer of the all-girl group revealed, "We're also gonna have a new cast of Dolls. And I'm excited."

In the meantime, Nicole is currently participating in "Dancing with the Stars". But when she is not working on her moves for the reality dancing competition, she makes new music in the studio. "Right now I've been in the studio working on music non-stop," so she shared. "We're gonna have another Pussycat Dolls album for all of our fans out there, but that's gonna be late this year."

On the chance of having her music included in the PCD's next studio album, she confessed, "I don't know if I'm gonna put [the new music out] under my name yet or if it's going to be perfect for the Dolls." She added, "It doesn't matter. I just want to make great music for the fans. It's going to be popular music, but I'm definitely going with [a] more rock, soul-inspired sound."

The Pussycat Dolls have lost Jessica Sutta, Kimberly Wyatt and Ashley Roberts as their members, leaving only Nicole Scherzinger and Melody Thornton. Following rumor that Melody, who threw backlash toward Nicole back in April last year, will also leave the group sooner than later, MTV suggested Nicole will be the only member who continues her career in the group.
