Jessica Sutta opens up about her debilitating journey post-COVID-19 vaccine, urging transparency and advocacy for those suffering from vaccine-related health issues.

AceShowbiz - The Pussycat Dolls alum Jessica Sutta opened up about a challenging and debilitating health battle after receiving her second dose of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine.

The singer, 42, detailed the onset of severe symptoms, including muscle spasms and extreme pain, mere days after her vaccination. "It felt like a knife inside was burning," Sutta shared in a candid interview with the Daily Mail.

Sutta experienced intense spasms, particularly around her right rib cage and spine, leaving her bed-bound and unable to engage in her passion for dancing. "It's very disappointing because I love to dance. It's who I am," she confessed.

These health issues were compounded by fatigue and significant weight loss - Sutta dropped a staggering 50 pounds, describing the ordeal as feeling like her body was "eating itself."

Her struggles also impacted her ability to care for her young son, resulting in overwhelming "mom guilt" from her inability to perform everyday tasks, such as lifting him into the car.

Seeking answers, Sutta attended a roundtable discussion that led her to connect with others experiencing similar vaccine-related issues. During Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s 2024 presidential campaign, she found herself speaking out about her symptoms and advocating for better awareness.

After months of misdiagnosis and medical consultations, Sutta was eventually diagnosed with vaccine-induced lupus seven months ago. This autoimmune condition, triggered by the body's immune response to the vaccine, led to a range of symptoms, including skin rashes, joint pain, muscle soreness, and extreme fatigue.

While this diagnosis provided some clarity, Sutta emphasized how the ordeal had compromised her trust in the medical system, "I'm not 'anti' anything. I'm just anti being sick."

Currently, Sutta manages her condition with a combination of steroids, lupus medication, and a strict diet devoid of gluten and sugar. Despite noticeable improvements, she admits, "Even after all of this, even though I'm having a better day today, I don't feel like myself anymore."

Nonetheless, Sutta remains optimistic and determined to conquer her health challenges, offering a message of perseverance to others facing similar struggles, "I am going to conquer this."
