After introducing the "Legend of the Guardians" characters through several images, Warner Bros. Pictures has shared the footage from the film by premiering the first teaser trailer. Making its way out via Yahoo! Movies, the video is opened with a narration by Soren's father about a legend of the guardians.
Soren is just a young barn owl who loves to hear the story about the Guardians of Ga'Hoole. Being inspired by the legend, Soren and his friends soar across the sea and through the mist to find the Great Tree, home of the legendary Guardians of Ga'Hoole, when the evil Pure Ones starts threatening the owl kingdoms.
Based on bestselling novel series by Kathryn Lasky called "Guardians of Ga'Hoole", "Legend of the Guardians" is an animation debut of acclaimed director Zack Snyder. It has Jim Sturgess, Emilie de Ravin, Deborra-Lee Furness, Hugo Weaving, Helen Mirren and many others lending their voices for the characters. This 3-D movie is expected to be released in U.S. theaters on September 24.
