Disney Channel has kicked off its campaign to promote the second season of "Sonny with a Chance". The comedy starring Demi Lovato, Tiffany Thornton, and Sterling Knight among others, will be back on screen this spring and several promo pics featuring the cast together and individually have been released.
The first episode of season 2 is called "Falling for the Falls". Disney has not officially released the synopsis and premiere date but allegedly it will be on February 14 and follow Lovato's Sonny secretly watching "Mackenzie Falls" and saying yes to a date with Chad.
Averaging 3 million viewers in the first season, "Sonny" was renewed for a second season in June last year. " 'Sonny' was a hit right out of the gate, thanks in no small part to the stratospheric trajectory of our newest star, Demi Lovato," Disney's Entertainment President Gary Marsh said, adding the second season will be injected with "music and more".
