When Philbin comes back to 'Live with Regis and Kelly' following a successful operation, Amy Adams, Katharine McPhee and Tim Allen will be welcoming him.

After recovering from a surgery, Regis Philbin is set to make a comeback on the small screen on January 4, 2010. Along with Kelly Ripa, he will be hosting "Live with Regis and Kelly" with Amy Adams, Gabourey Sidibe, Tim Allen, Jenna Elfman, Chris Meloni, Katharine McPhee and Capt. Chesley B. Sullenberger on the guests seat.
Regis took a leave from the ABC's talk show since November 30 because he was preparing for a hip replacement operation which was held on December 1. Earlier this month, Nick Jonas from the Jonas Brothers came to the show to sub for him.
During his temporary break from "Live with Regis and Kelly", Regis was not completely out of sight. During an episode of "Late Show with David Letterman", he called in to the CBS' show to help David Letterman delivering his "Top Ten" list.
