Food Network star Paula Deen is supposed to be the star of the multiple host show, not Kate who is drawing controversy one after another.

AceShowbiz - Being too famous is not always a positive point when it comes to securing a job. Kate Gosselin has just been dropped from hosting a new TV show called "Momlogic" which is produced by Telepictures. The reason is simply because she is too controversial.

Radar Online which was first to learn about the news, said that executives thought Kate's reputation of being a divorced mother of eight may not suit the talk show for working moms. An alternative to "The View" which also features multiple hosts, "Momlogic" was supposed to be hosted by Kate together with Paula Deen, Lee Woodruff and Rene Syler. Kate in fact had taped the pilot in September.

It was Paula who was developed as the star of the show despite its multiple host format. With Kate's divorce making media headlines, Paula reportedly is overshadowed by the mother of sextuplets and twins. However, not all the executives are in favor of dropping Kate from the line-up. "There was a lot of arguing," Radar's source said.

All in all, the show that will discuss issues like teen pregnancy and other lighter issues has an uncertain future. Sources said that "Momlogic" has been pitched to networks but there is little chance that it will get picked up.

Kate Gosselin herself has struck a deal with TLC to create a new show which is still in development. She previously starred in the network's "Jon & Kate Plus 8" with ex-husband Jon Gosselin and their eight children.
