Lionsgate Films has provided another preview to "Kick-Ass" by releasing an age restricted trailer. Unlike the previously released sneak peeks which mainly focus on green-costumed superhero Kick-Ass, the new video which was outed by IGN gives much of its portion to Hit Girl, an alter ego of 12 year-old Mindy Macready who shows no mercy when attacking her enemies.

Adapted from a comic book series by Mark Millar and John Romita Jr., "Kick-Ass" promises to offer a twisted, funny, high-octane adventure from director Matthew Vaughn. Set for U.S. release on April 16, 2010, it follows the story of average teenager Dave Lizewski who decides to take his comic-book obsession as inspiration to become a real-life superhero.

Assembling green-colored suit and mask to wear, he opts to be called Kick-Ass and gets to work fighting crime. As a superhero wannabe, Kick-Ass actually has no superpower. However, his life is forever changed as he inspires a subculture of copy cats, is hunted by assorted violent and unpleasant characters, and meets up with a pair of crazed vigilantes.

The titular character is played by Aaron Johnson, while 11-year-old sword-wielding dynamo Hit Girl and her father Big Daddy are portrayed by Chloe Moretz and Nicolas Cage respectively. They are joined by Christopher Mintz-Plasse who plays Red Mist, and Mark Strong who portrays Frank D'Amico.
