AceShowbiz - A music video in companion to Timbaland's new single "Say Something" has just made its way out on BET. Directed by Paul Coy Allen, the video follows Timbaland as he asks his leading lady to speak up her mind.
"Say Something" features Drake who also makes cameo appearance on the video. The track is set to appear in Timbaland's next studio installment "Shock Value 2" which hits the market in U.S. on December 8. The song has been made available for U.S. purchase on iTunes since November 3.
Beside teaming up with Drake, Timbaland also joins forces with Justin Timberlake, Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, The Fray, DAUGHTRY, OneRepublic, Keri Hilson and many other big stars in the album.
Among those duets, Timbaland says the joint track with Justin is his favorite. He told MTV, "That [song] reminds me of a 2010 'Drop It Like It's Hot.' All these sounds from all over. We tried to give another slang for women. Instead of 'Your phat butt' or 'Your big breasts,' we say, 'Oh, I need you. Can I be your carry out? Be my carry out. I want you to be my dinner, my leftovers, my everything.' It's a different slang. We're grown men, I wanna be subliminal to females. Like, 'Oooh, carry out? That's kinda sexy'."
