Kelis has revealed one of her brand new materials. In the song titled "Acapella", the singer who gave birth to her first son in June this year delivers lines "Before you, my whole life was acapella / Now a symphony is the only song to sing."

Coming from production hands of David Guetta, "Acapella" is Kelis' first song since parting ways with Jive Records in 2007. Now, she has signed a record deal with Interscope and is working on a new album which is yet to be titled.

Of that matter, she said, "My album is pretty much done. I signed a new deal and I'm madly in love with life and ready to share something with you. My new song is called 'Acapella' and I wrote it with love and life in mind."
