The young and reckless Wonder Twins have no pointy ears like in the comic books but they sure are purple.

"Smallville" version of The Wonder Twins stick to the comic version by presenting them in purple although they don't exactly wear tights. The first photos of the eighth episode this season titled "Idols" where they are slated to make the first appearance have been released.
Superhero twins Zan and Jayna show up in Metropolis to help The Blur fight crime but end up botching several rescues, landing Clark in hot water with the District Attorney's office. In the episode, Clark decides to come forward as the Blur to clear his name.
David Gallagher from "7th Heaven" plays Zan and Allison Scagliotti from "Warehouse 13" plays Jayna. There is no word yet whether their blue monkey Gleek will also be featured on the show.
The Wonder Twins are the latest DC Comic characters coming to "Smallville" this season. Previously, Speedy, Roulette and Metallo have had their share of screen time. Meanwhile, Justice Society of America which includes Hawkman and Star Girl will show up in a January 2010 episode.
