AceShowbiz - More details on the War Machine of "Iron Man 2" have been spilled. Dropping by MTV recently, Sam Rockwell who will be seen as Justin Hammer in the "Iron Man" sequel gave an interesting scoop on the relationship between his Tony Stark's rival character and Don Cheadle's Colonel James "Rhodey" Rhodes.

Of the two characters' alliance, the 40-year-old actor said, "Don and I, we're working together. He works with me in spite of some of my personality flaws." Calling Hammer "a bit of a shark" in explaining the "personality flaws" remark, he then detailed that "Don's character, Rhodey, needs to work with me. He has no choice. So we team up and we build this fabulous War Machine."

Asked further whether his character might take advantage of the opportunity to try the War Machine armor on, the actor who voiced Darwin in "G-Force" stated that he has no chance to do so. "I really wanted to, but Don wouldn't let me," so Rockwell claimed.

Previously, director Jon Favreau has talked about the inclusion of War Machine in the film. He said, "Then we have Don Cheadle. We've upped Rhodey's significance in the film and now I think the cat's out of the bag about War Machine, so he's in that suit. How does he become War Machine? What's his relationship to Iron Man?"

Scripted by "Tropic Thunder" co-scribbler Justin Theroux, "Iron Man 2" sees the return of Robert Downey Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow as Tony Stark and Pepper Potts. Additionally, it has Mickey Rourke, Samuel L. Jackson and Scarlett Johansson among the star-studded cast ensemble. Paramount Pictures eyes to distribute this actioner in theaters across the U.S. on May 7, 2010.
