In "Shut It Down" music video, Pitbull appears as Armando Bond who is equipped with the most advanced gadgets just like Ian Flemming's famous character, James Bond. As for his collaborator Akon, he portrays a surveillance target No. 1.
"Shut It Down" is the fourth single from Pitbull's studio album "Rebelution" which has been released in U.S. since August 31. Explaining on why he chose to drop the new effort on Monday rather than the usual U.S. Tuesday schedule, this musician said, "The album is being released on a Monday to meet the deadline for submitting albums to the Grammy people. It also gives us an extra day of sales leading into the labor day weekend."
Led by Lil Jon-featuring single "Krazy", the album debuted at number eight on Billboard Hot 200, pulling in around 41,000 copies in its first week on sale.
