Take a peek at what the 'Twilight' hunk did during the audition to win the part of Art in Oliver Irving's independent comedy about a young man going through a quarter-life crisis.

AceShowbiz - Before Robert Pattinson landed his famed role of Edward Cullen in "Twilight", he took a part in an independent comedy drama "How to Be", playing lead character Art. As the movie is closing in to its DVD release date, Access Hollywood offered fans a chance to get a preview of his audition tape for the part.

The short compilation of footage features the Cedric Diggory in "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" trying different characterizations of Art when delivering his lines. At one point, he can be seen saying, "I feel it's all wrong." On another take, he stuffed tissue into his nose to simulate how his character deliver lines following a beat up.

A feature film from a writer/director Oliver Irving, "How to Be" revolves around Art, a young man going through a quarter-life crisis. On April 29, it was released in the U.S. on demand on IFC Festival Direct. The DVD version, in which the full version of the audition tape is included, will be available for purchase across the country on November 17.

23-year-old Robert Pattinson claimed his fame through his portrayal of hundred-year-old vampire who falls in love with a mortal girl in the first adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's "Twilight Saga" series. He will be seen reprising his role as Edward in "The Twilight Saga's New Moon" and "The Twilight Saga's Eclipse". Beside, he will be seen starring as Tyler Roth in "Remember Me".
