Contrary to earlier reports, Brandon denies he is dating Avril, insisting she is his friend and he hasn't spoken to her in a month.

AceShowbiz - There is nothing romantic between rumored lovers Brandon Davis and Avril Lavigne. It is the oil heir himself who sets the record straight on the false reports that they are hooking up and have moved in together.
"Absolutely not. She's my friend and that's it," so he tells Radar Online when asked to clarify the mounting dating reports. Referring to rumors of him and the songstress house hunting in Beverly Hills and Hollywood Hills this week, Brandon explains, "I'm in London and I've been here for the last two weeks. I've never hooked up with her." He then confirms to Radar Online, "Actually I haven't talked to her in a month."
Avril Lavigne is currently waiting for her divorce from husband Deryck Whibley being finalized. She filed for divorce from the Sum 41 lead vocalist on October 9, citing irreconcilable differences, after more than 3 years of marriage.
This isn't the first time that Brandon Davis and Avril are romantically linked. Back in September 2005, it was reported that she cheated on Deryck with Brandon. Avril herself has so far remained mum on the report that she is romancing Brandon.
