Emmy Rossum is dating Adam Duritz, who is the lead singer and founding member of rock band Counting Crows. The dating rumor, which is first brought forth by In Touch Weekly, comes in the wake of reports that Emmy is divorced by her music executive husband Justin Siegel.
Emmy and Adam were spotted having a romantic dinner at Dos Caminos restaurant in New York's SoHo neighborhood earlier this month. And last Wednesday, September 23, they reportedly made sweet music with a duet at the National Parks Conservation Association's concert to celebrate National Parks Week in New York's Central Park.
A witness tells In Touch Weekly, "They were staring into each other's eyes" as they sang "Going Back to Georgia." After the Counting Crows finished their set, Emmy and Adam "went back to his trailer together. They had their arms around each other and were kissing," an insider claims. "They are totally dating and aren't afraid to show it."
Emmy Rossum began dating Justin Siegel in 2007. Both of them had never confirmed that they were husband and wife until their secret marriage was exposed in early August when reports surfaced that they called off their romance.
Justin was reported filing for divorce from Emmy in L.A. County Superior Court on Friday, September 25, citing irreconcilable differences. He is seeking spousal support from her and wants the court to order her to pay the divorce cost. According to the divorce documents, Emmy and Justin got married in February 2008.
