His family gives him a piano on which he wrote song about his diabetes diagnosis, while "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam" production team gives him a Kettler ping-pong table.

AceShowbiz - Spending his 17th birthday on Wednesday, September 16 working on "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam", Nick Jonas received a Kettler ping-pong table from the film's crew and cast. "Nick is a sports fanatic and what he loves to do on tour besides Wiffle Ball, and softball is ping-pong," said the film's producer Alan Sacks of the present. "He's a ping-pong whiz!"

Nick's family, meanwhile, got him a piano, on which he wrote song about his diagnosis with diabetes. The piano was originally located at a hotel in Halliburton, Ontario, where the Jonas Brothers filmed "Camp Rock".

"It's actually the piano I wrote 'A Little Bit Longer' on. It's definitely got a special meaning for me," the birthday boy revealed to People. "I originally wanted to get a plaque just to put on the piano when I got there saying that I wrote the song on, but the family just decided to get it for me." Nick then added, "I think I'm going to put it in our office where our management team works. So that will be nice. It's a nice piece of memorabilia with lots of meaning."

In addition to the piano and ping-pong table, Nick was also presented with a light blue vanilla cake with cream filling. His entire family, including his youngest brother Frankie Jonas, was present on the set of "Camp Rock 2" and was joined by the cast and crew to serenade him "Happy Birthday".

"It's exciting," Nick told People. "I tend to keep things low key for my birthdays in general. It's so much attention that it can be a bit overwhelming. But it's nice when people do things to celebrate. I have tonight off and I think we have something planned. We'll see how it roles out."
