Kanye West managed to set tongue wagging when he suddenly jumped to the stage at the 26th Annual MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, September 13 when Taylor Swift was giving her acceptance speech for her Best Female Video prize. She was delivering her speech when he took away the microphone she was holding and telling audience that Beyonce Knowles should have won the prize for the music video of her track "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)".

"Yo Taylor. I'm really happy for you. I'm gonna let you finish but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time. One of the best videos of all time!" he shouted. Both Taylor and Beyonce were shocked at Kanye's action.

However, later that day when she was announced as Video of the Year winner for her "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" music video, Beyonce invited Taylor to once again come to the stage and finish her speech which was previously cut short by Kanye.
