'Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs' theme song, Miranda Cosgrove's 'Raining Sunshine', gets an 'energetic and colorful' music video.

AceShowbiz - Miranda Cosgrove has premiered a music video for "Raining Sunshine", her new single which is picked up as a soundtrack for movie "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs", on Nickelodeon during the airing of her Emmy-nominated TV series "iCarly". Excluding scenes from the upcoming film, the video mostly shows Miranda's live performance with captures of food intercepting.
"Doing this video was just a lot of fun," Miranda recently shared her experience of shooting the video to People. "Getting to listen to music all day and getting to sing a song and dance around, I don't get to do that on 'iCarly' very much!"
Doug Cohn, Senior Vice President of Nickelodeon, praised the video as "energetic and colorful." One day before it was debuted, he said in a press release, "Fans will love seeing another side of their favorite Nickelodeon star as she performs her new song 'Raining Sunshine.'"
"Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" will arrive in U.S. theaters on September 18. Focusing on a town where food falls from the sky like rain, this family-oriented movie has Anna Faris, Bill Hader and Andy Samberg among others voicing the characters. Its soundtrack album hasn't got any release date. Tracklisting for the effort is also yet to be disclosed.
