"True Blood" gives a sneak peek of what happen in the second-to-last episode of season 2, "Frenzy". Sookie tries to stop Tara from going out and rescuing the man of her life, Eggs, because things get too dangerous out there. Accompanied by Lafayette and Lettie-Mae, Sookie and Tara are waiting for a news from Bill.
With the crisis in Bon Temps careening out of control, Bill seeks out the advice of Sophie-Anne, the Vampire Queen of Louisiana, but must exercise patience before she gives him critical information. An impatient Tara says to Sookie, "He might have some information? He might not and Eggs needs to get out now."
Meanwhile, a desperate Sam turns to an unlikely source for assistance and Jessica tests Hoyt's allegiance to Maxine.
"Frenzy" airs on Sunday, August 30. Evan Rachel Wood's vampire character is debuted in this episode and will be a major storyline in the third season.
