Contrary to earlier reports that announcement on Michael Jackson's autopsy results will be made as soon as Friday, July 17 or early next week, the Los Angeles County coroner's office has confirmed it will delay the announcement until the next two weeks. Apparently, the autopsy takes longer process than it was first expected, forcing authorities to announce the delay. Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter who confirmed the matter on Thursday, July 16 refused to explore further on the matter though.

According to the Associated Press, the highly expected autopsy results of the late King of Pop will include details on what drugs found in his system at the time he passed away on June 25. Once the drugs are named, cause of Michael's death is expected to be determined and that will be key in the case on whether or not any criminal charges will be filed.

Michael Jackson passed away after suffering cardiac arrest. His death certificate, which was issued on July 7, the same day a memorial service was held to remember his life and career, listed the cause of his death as "deferred".

While details are still sketchy regarding Michael's sudden death, his sister La Toya Jackson has publicly shared her belief that her brother was murdered for money. "I believe Michael was murdered, I felt that from the start. Not just one person was involved, rather it was a conspiracy of people," she told Daily Mail in a recent interview.
