Prepping for the release of her debut album next month, Jessie James won't slow down as she has confirmed in a post on her MySpace that she is about to take part in Xbox LIVE to play NASCAR 09 alongside Xbox LIVE Gold members. "Jessie James has made appearances at Nascar races and has sang for audiences, but this time she is getting behind the wheel. Jessie will joining other gamers on XBOX Live for a game of Nascar '09," read the particular message.

XBOX Live is scheduled to take place in New York City next Wednesday, July 22. The game will be kicked off starting from 1 P.M. to 3 P.M. EST. Xbox LIVE Gold Members can win the chance to play with Jessie by sending a friend request to Jessie J GWF.

Jessie James, who is a Mercury Records/Island Def Jam recording artist, will be releasing her-self titled debut album "Jessie James" on August 11. The record's first single "Wanted", which already hit the market, is co-written with Mitch Allen, David Hodges, and "American Idol" judge Kara DioGuardi.

Speaking of her music genre, which includes rock, pop, country, and even hip-hop, Jessie has been quoted as explaining, "I couldn't put my music in a single box. I just loved everything. That was part of me growing up in so many different places. I didn't want to limit myself to just one kind of music. I just decided, why not just do all of it, and somehow blend it together. And I think I've done that. There are all different types of music, beats and instrumentation."
