Jonas Brothers have just finished recording sessions for their next installment titled "Lines, Vines and Trying Times". They confirm it through their Twitter feed saying, "Guess what everybody we just finished the record!! I'm pretty sure it's the most excited I've ever been about one of our albums ever!"

Previously, the youngest member of the band, Nick Jonas, told MTV that their next album will become their "journal in songs." He stated, "[It's about] things we've gone through, personal experiences we get inspiration from. We've also been working on trying to use metaphors ... to kind of mask a literal thing that happens to us."

"The record is amazing," Nick said in another occasion. "It's got three distinct sounds, that's why there's three words in the title. ... There's kind of like a funk sound, a little bit of a country-sounding thing, and then the classic rock."

After the new album is released in U.S. on June 15, the band will embark on their world tour. Along with Jordin Sparks and Honor Society, Joe Jonas and his brothers will begin touring across U.S. on June 20 in Texas. Their complete tour dates can be found on their MySpace.

Aside from new album report, Jonas Brothers have been recruited as co-hosts at this year's MuchMusic Video Awards, which will be held on June 21. Beside making a hosting job, they will also perform at the annual event.

Concerning their recruitment as the event's co-hosts, Kevin Jonas shares, "We're so excited to get back up to Canada, and co-hosting the MMVAs is a real honour for us!" Nick Jonas then adds, "We're the kind of guys who aren't afraid to poke fun at ourselves. We'll figure out a fun way to incorporate some humor into the show. We definitely don't take ourselves too seriously."
