Katharine McPhee plays a singer who is a crime victim seeking revenge in the 'CSI: NY' April 8 episode 'Prey'.

Next week, "CSI: NY" will be back with an episode called "Prey" where a stalker becomes a prey. Former "American Idol" runner-up Katharine McPhee guest stars as double identity Odessa Shaw and Dana Melton.
While investigating the shooting of a man in an empty theater, Stella realizes that the crime scene is oddly familiar and staged. McPhee's character is a singer who is also a crime victim who resorts to murder as revenge. "Prey" airs April 8.
McPhee, who shot her part back in February on the CBS Radford Lot in Studio City, Calif., has appeared on television before, playing herself in "Ugly Betty". This "CSI" cameo marks her first role-playing on TV. She is also a cast of feature films such as "The House Bunny" and "You May Not Kiss the Bride", the latter which will be released in 2010.
