Green Day will premiere 'Knock Your Enemy' music video, which will be directed by Motion Theory, on April 24.

AceShowbiz - Premiere date for Green Day's forthcoming "Knock Your Enemy" music video has been set on stone. It is confirmed that the video will be brought forward exclusively on MTV on April 24 at 8 P.M. ET.

Filming for the video will begin this weekend in Los Angeles. Motion Theory, who has worked with the likes of Adele and Weezer, has been recruited to helm the project.

"Knock Your Enemy" is the first single from Green Day's soon-to-be-released eight studio album "21st Century Breakdown". The track will be released sometime in April, while the album will hit U.S. stores on May 15.

In recording the new effort, the band work with Garbage's drummer Butch Vig, who helped The Smashing Pumpkins producing their 1993 effort "Siamese Dream". They will break down the new record into three acts; "Heroes and Cons", "Charlatans and Saints" and "Horseshoes and Handgrenades".
