Akon and Pharrell Williams will help Alexandra Burke making music for her debut studio album, which is yet to have a release date.

2008 "The X Factor" champion Alexandra Burke will get a helping hand from Akon in getting her debut studio album done. "I've had calls to work with Alex and I'm going to do it," so Akon says in an interview with The Daily Star.

"I love 'The X Factor' and I love helping to break new artists," Akon shares more of his thought on his new project with Alexandra. "To me, it's one of the most enjoyable and important aspects of my job."

Another musician reportedly tapped to help Alexandra on her new album is N.E.R.D's member Pharrell Williams. "She can't believe her luck. She's a massive fan and thinks Pharrell will help her distance herself from Leona [Lewis] comparisons," a source says.

Alexandra Burke's debut album may be released under Epic Records as the singer has reportedly signed a deal worth 3 million pounds with the company. Saying no words on when the record will be released, she previously claimed to be inspired by Coldplay's victory at 2009 Grammy Awards saying, "I'd love to crack the US. After seeing COLDPLAY take away the awards at the Grammys I was so inspired."
