Internet reports have been abuzz that Mickey Rourke and Courtney Love are an item after The Mirror broke a report Wednesday, February 11, claiming the twosome has been secretly dating for three weeks. "Courtney has quite a crush on Mickey and finds him utterly compelling," an insider testified.

Mickey and Courtney were claimed to have "met up in secret and had an awesome evening" after he sent her text messages during the Golden Globes on January 11, asking her to go on a date with him. Greater than that, the insider believed, "Let's just say they didn't stop at holding hands and a chaste peck on the cheek."

"They've known each other for years - she's stuck by him through the good times and the bad. Now he's back on the Hollywood A-list he's gone up another notch in the desirability stakes," the insider added.

Mickey Rourke, who is back at the center of the spotlight after winning Best Leading Actor BAFTA and Best Performance by an Actor Golden Globe for his starring role in "The Wrestler", is known to have dated a string of famous female celebs. As for Courtney Love, she was previously married to late musician Kurt Cobain.
