No Doubt have recruited Paramore as their special guest for 2009 summer tour, which will be kicked off in May.

It is official, No Doubt will be hitting the road for a summer tour with Paramore serving as their special guest. While the dates and venues for the roadshow have yet to be unveiled, they are confirmed to kick off the gig in May and continue playing outdoor amphitheaters and arenas throughout the summer in U.S. and Canada.
On why the tour has to be done, singer Gwen Stefani says they need to travel to find inspiration for their new music. "The whole reason for going on this tour was to have fun, try on all our favorite songs again and to get inspired to make new music. It feels good to be all together again," so she claims.
Paramore's frontwoman Hayley Williams reveals her excitement, noting that having a chance to tour with No Doubt is like a dream comes true. "What a dream tour! We couldn't be more excited to kick off 2009 by touring with a band like No Doubt," she states.
The same excitement is also shared by No Doubt's bassist Tony Kanal and drummer Adrian Young. "Get there early ... this is going to a be a great night from the moment the lights go down," Tony says. Adrian meanwhile admits, "Now that five years have passed, the excitement level for us is extremely high. We are so fresh and ready! I feel like a kid again when rehearsing these songs."
