Welsh singer Charlotte Church and rugby player Gavin Henson will get married this summer, according to the Daily Mail. The report comes just days after she gave birth to their second child, son Dexter Lloyd Henson, on Wednesday, January 11.
"Gavin had promised her they'd get married after the new baby was born," a source tells the Daily Mail. "So far the couple have avoided the issue of marriage because it will involve such a big wedding and so much organization and they've always been too busy to get it together."
"They'd love to have one ceremony in Wales with the family and one in an exotic location. Now that their son has arrived, they are under even more pressure from their families so they'd like to tie the knot this summer. Once Charlotte is back to feeling slim and happy with her looks she'll want to be a bride, and Gavin is ready for it," the source reveals further.
"Until now, they've both felt that having children together has meant a lot more than a wedding in terms of commitment. They feel they have the perfect family, a girl and boy, and now they want to make it even more perfect by marrying," the source concludes.
Charlotte Church and Gavin Henson have been together since September 2005. Their newborn son, Dexter Lloyd Henson, joins older sister Ruby Megan Henson, who was born in September 2007. In related news, it is also claimed that Charlotte has secured an exclusive deal with OK! magazine, reportedly worth 700,000 pounds, for the first pics of Dexter.
