Ashanti to Scoop Unreleased Songs in 'The Vault'

Ashanti will team up with a 15-year-old producer in her upcoming fifth studio album 'The Vault', which is comprised of her never-heard-before singles that she has worked on since 2001.

AceShowbiz - Ashanti is confirmed to compile her 12 never-before-heard vocal recordings in a new album called "The Vault". Her recording label, AJM Records, reveal that her upcoming studio album will be released on October 14 and the materials in the effort will carry singles that she has penned since 2001 when she signed exclusively to AJM.

Furthermore, the recording company says that her vocals will be touched up by powerhouse producers, including 15-year-old Miguel "Migs" Baeza. In the album's lead single "Let's Do Something Crazy", Migs brings out rapper Flo Rida to add a few verses.

Speaking of the project, Migs says that he is challenged to continue maintaining Ashanti's classic style while at the same time providing her fans with a more upbeat-tempo jam. "I tried to please her already established fan base by maintaining the classic Ashanti style while at the same time indulging a new audience with an upbeat, exciting feel on this upcoming single," he explains as saying.

Another producer to join Ashanti's team includes Kidd Kold, who will handle the creative process of 8 singles in the forthcoming album, including the second single "Imagine". Additional producers are comprised of Steven White, Kenny Flav, and Nocko, the latest has worked with big names such as Mary J. Blige, Ludacris, and Nelly.
