Honored as Best Female Video for her hit single 'Piece of Me' at this weekend's MTV Video Music Awards, Britney Spears thanks her two sons for being her inspirations.

AceShowbiz - As promised by MTV, Britney Spears is indeed appearing at this year's MTV Video Music Awards show by walking to the stage in order to introduce the ceremony with actor Jonah Hill. Wearing silver gown, she received a standing ovation from the audience, including Fall Out Boy, Paramore, and Kid Rock when taking the stage.

Furthermore, the singer makes a thank you speech in which she thanks God and her two sons that have inspired her every day after picking up the award for Best Female Video for her song "Piece of Me", which is announced by Jamie Foxx. The moment is cheered on by the crowd and her recently re-hired manager Larry Rudolph, the man who helped her claiming her fame as a teenager.

This year's ceremony is hosted by British comedian Russell Brand, who achieved fame for his role in "Forgetting Sarah Marshall". Other lined-up performances at the event include Jonas Brothers, Katy Perry, and Christina Aguilera.
