AceShowbiz - Rumors on their wedding have been all over the news media, with the latest claimed that Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi are planning to tie the knot this weekend in a low key ceremony in California with only a few close friends and family being invited. Hot on the heels of the claim, E! News has just outed details of the pair's wedding preparation.
In a post on its site, dated August 15, E! News reported that the lesbian couple would likely to hold their wedding at the home they currently share in Beverly Hills. The activities have been hectic in the mansion, E! claimed.
Revelry Event Designers, the same company that helped decorating the wedding of Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz in May, was seen there. There was also truck from L.A. florist Mark's Garden making a delivery to the couple's home Friday morning, August 15. Ellen's mother, Betty, additionally was spotted at the house too. She was seen driving out of Ellen's driveway shortly before noon.
E! News promises further details on the wedding preparation of Ellen and Portia, who reportedly will wed on Saturday night, August 16.
Ellen and Portia have been dating since 2004. The comedian and talk show host gave Portia a pink diamond ring for their engagement, which the actress was spotted sporting during this year Daytime Emmy Awards in June.
Talks about a wedding have been heating up ever since Ellen announced publicly during a taping of her talk show "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" in May that she's planning to wed Portia soon after the California Supreme Court officially ruled that same sex couple have the "right to marry."
