Quitting her scheduled Las Vegas gig due to heart complications, Toni Braxton allegedly has other duty in the pipeline. The recording artist reportedly is joining the contestants of "Dancing with the Stars."

TMZ broke the news, claiming to have been informed by its spies that Toni has signed on to participate in the next season of "Dancing with the Stars." A representative for the ABC's show won't comment on casting rumors though.

Toni, who catapulted to fame with her song "Unbreak My Heart," most recently starred in a Las Vegas show, "Toni Braxton: Revealed", at the Flamingo hotel. She canceled the show following a hospitalization on April 7 after complaining of chest pains.

The cause of the chest pains remained unknown. Yet it's been revealed that Toni once was diagnosed with a heart condition called pericarditis, which is an inflammation of the lining of the heart. She reportedly found out that she suffered from the disease back in 2003 after the birth of her son Diezel. Since then she's been named a spokeswoman for the American Heart Association.
