After competing very hard this past weekend, finally the teen pop sensation managed to beat the country duo and take the top spot on the U.S. Albums chart.

AceShowbiz - Miley Cyrus has finally won the race against Sugarland to top the Billboard Hot 200 this week. The teen idol's new record "Breakout" take the #1 position on the albums chart after selling about 371,000 on its first week.
Meanwhile, Sugarland who was closing in on Miley have to settle for the runner-up position after their "Love on the Inside [Deluxe Fan Edition]" only managed to sell about 314,000. Following the top two position is the soundtrack of the movie "Mamma Mia!" that managed to keep its last week's spot at #3 with 168,000 copies sold.
At #4 comes Kid Rock with his latest record "Rock N Roll Jesus" that rises 6-4 after selling 93,000 units. Lil Wayne's "Tha Carter III" starts to lose its ground on the chart after slipping again 2-5 this week after its sale only reached the 85,000 mark. The same condition also happens for Coldplay's "Viva la Vida" who also drops from 4 to 6 with 75,000 units sold.
The #7 spot this week is grabbed by Disney's "Camp Rock" soundtrack after selling 67,000 copies, while last week chart topper Nas' untitled LP drops significantly to #8 after it only managed to sell 63,000 units this past weekend. Multi label compilation set "Now 28" take the #9 position this week with 37,000 copies sold and closing the top ten chart is Taylor Swift's exclusive Wal-mart EP/DVD package "Beautiful Eyes" that dropped 9-10 after its sale only reached the 35,000 mark.
