Is an actress with a number of movie credits, Jennifer Connelly can now add brand spokeswoman to her career resume. She is tapped as the new face of Revlon, the cosmetics giant has confirmed.
On her tapping as the brand's celebrity endorser, Revlon's President and CEO David Kennedy said, "Jennifer Connelly is a modern, dynamic and intelligent woman. She is an accomplished wife, mother and actress and her successes complement the spirit of the Revlon brand." He then added, "We are elated to have Jennifer join the Revlon family."
Follows in the footsteps of past spokeswomen Halle Berry, Jessica Alba and Elle MacPherson for the brand, Connelly will be featured in the company's global advertising campaign later this year. She will as well have to participate in various Revlon-sponsored philanthropic activities and charity fund-raising events.
Admitted that she's feeling "honored to be joining the Revlon Family," Connelly addressed the brand as "one of the great iconic brands of today and I am thrilled to be part of a company that has done so much for women around the world."
Connelly, in the meantime, is awaiting for the release of her big screen flicks; the science fiction thriller "The Day the Earth Stood Still" December later this year, and the comedy romance "He's Just Not That Into You" February next year.
