The long wait for Guns N' Roses fans to hear some new material from the band's upcoming album "Chinese Democracy" could soon be over after the latest news said that the band will release a new song in September. According to The New York Times, the new song titled "Shackle's Revenge" will be included as one of the tracks for MTV music game "Rock Band 2".

Although there haven't been any statements from the band, their label Universal Music or MTV, a source told the website that the deal is still in process. Moreover, according to the source the official announcement about the agreement could be revealed today (July 14) by MTV.

If the news is true, the new song won't be the first track from GNR's upcoming LP that has been outed to public, previously sometime in June, about 9 tracks from the rockers have been streamed illegally by a website called Antiquiet.com. But the leak doesn't last that long as only one day after that, the rock act have asked the website owner to pull out the tracks from their site.

"Chinese Democracy" itself has become the longest awaited record from the band as it has been worked for over a decade. Although, the band's frontman Axl Rose has confirmed that the new record is finished, until this year it hasn't had an exact release date yet.
