A Batch of On-Set 'Wolverine' Photos Surfaced

A series of 'X-Men Origins: Wolverine' on location photos has been unraveled and they expose the scene where Wolverine landed on a beach with other soldiers.

AceShowbiz - "X-Men Origins: Wolverine", the spin-off movie from the hugely popular "X-Men" series, is currently filming in locations across Australia and New Zealand. And, with the crew being busy shooting for the action fantasy, a bunch of on-set photos has leaked out. The pictures expose the activities done while filming on Blacksmiths beach.

Outed by local publication The Lake Macquarie News earlier, the images display bits from what scenes are being shot on the particular day. Reportedly, the principal photography taken on the day of the photos highlighted on Wolverine landing on a beach with a band of World War II soldier. One of the pictures shows Hugh Jackman, the Wolverine depicter, wearing a soldier uniform. All of the images can be seen via Lake Macquarie News' photo gallery.

"Wolverine" also features the likes of Liev Schreiber, Ryan Reynolds, will.i.am and Dominic Monaghan. It tells the story of the Marvel Comics character known for the blades implanted in between his knuckles chronicling his past, his relation to Victor Creed and the Weapon X program. The 20th Century Fox's film is expected to be released on May 1, 2009.
