Reese Witherspoon Sharing Screen With Ben Stiller in Cameron Crowe's Latest Project

The 'Rendition' actress has been tapped to star alongside 'Tropic Thunder' star in the newest feature film project from the 'Almost Famous' director.

AceShowbiz - Among the A-list Hollywood actresses, Reese Witherspoon can be said to be the one who has experienced working with different kinds of movie genres and is successful tackling them. She has been praised by movie critics for portraying an ambitious student in satirical drama comedy "Election", delivered a blockbuster hit with "Legally Blonde" and won an Oscar for her portrayal of notable country singer June Carter in biopic "Walk the Line". For her upcoming feature film project, the 32-year-old actress is going to undertake another genre, a romantic comedy.

The former wife of actor Ryan Phillippe has been reported to be signed to star in the newest but yet to be titled movie project from the acclaimed filmmaker of "Almost Famous", Cameron Crowe, the "Untitled Cameron Crowe Project". Together with renowned comedian Ben Stiller, she will star the film for Columbia Pictures, which will be shot in January 2009. Nevertheless, up to this point, what kind of character she will be playing is yet to be unearthed.

Witherspoon was last seen headlining a romantic comedy film in 2005 with Marc Levy's novel adaptation movie "Just Like Heaven". In November 11, she will be seen sharing screen with Vince Vaughn in "Four Christmases" New Line Cinema's dramedy about a young couple attending four different Christmas Day family celebrations. Aside from "Christmases", she will be lending her voice to animation film "Monsters vs. Aliens".
