When it comes to Sexiest Women in the World, readers of FHM magazine agree that Megan Fox is the first. But, Maxim magazine has its own choice for the hottest woman in the world as its readers have chosen supermodel Marisa Miller to top the publication's annual Hot 100 list.

It was the first time that Miller, 29, a Victoria's Secret model, appeared on the annual list. Knocked troubled actress-singer Lindsay Lohan from the top of the men magazine's Hot list, Miller is praised by Maxim editorial director James Kaminsky to have embodied "the official return of the all-American supermodel. Not since Cindy Crawford ruled the catwalk has a pinup born and bred on U.S. soil so thoroughly captured the imagination of the American male."

Lindsay, who topped last year's list of the Hot 100 "Ultimate List of the World's Most Beautiful Women," unfortunately falls to No. 9. "After a tumultuous year involving a car wreck and rehab, La Lohan had Hollywood wondering if she was worth the trouble," so Kaminsky said about her.

Following Miller close at No. 2 is actress Scarlett Johansson, who according to Maxim is a "dangerously curvy bombshell" with "the acting chops to back up her mind-melting hotness." Jessica Biel, in the meantime, steals the 3rd spot, just one place ahead of "Desperate Housewives" babe Eva Longoria Parker at No. 4.

Rounding out the Top 5 is Sarah Michelle Gellar. Making the Top 10 are Elisha Cuthbert at No. 6, Eva Mendes at 7th, Christina Aguilera at No. 8 and Ashley Tisdale finishing the 10th spot.
