Following earlier reports claiming that Orlando Bloom has joined the star studded cast of "New York, I Love You", it is reported that the "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" actor Shia LaBeouf and the "Away From Her" star Julie Christie have been tapped to join the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star. Hollywood Reporter is the first to announce the additional casting.

Reportedly, in the movie that is made in the form of an anthology of 12 short films, the rising star and the notable actress will be working together under the direction of "Elizabeth: The Golden Age" helmer Shekhar Kapur who takes over the place of late writer/director Anthony Minghella. The two also will share the scene in a segment which resolves around a woman who meets a young man in a hotel that is in between worlds and develop mysterious connection as well as understanding for their situation.

In the segment scripted by Minghella, the pair are going to be joined by actor John Hurt. Further, it is explained that the short story has been described to be similar to Minghella's 1990 breakout film "Truly Madly Deeply". Hollywood Reporter also noted that the production of the short film is under way on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.
