Hosting Fox's "Idol Gives Back" apparently has put Ryan Seacrest in his best charitable mood ever that he willingly gave back all his fee to the event. The TV and radio host has on Sunday evening, April 6 handed over the paycheck he received for hosting the event to the cause, which helps children and young people in extreme poverty in the U.S. and around the world.

Seacrest, as said by a source close to him, wanted to show fans that he was serious about the cause. "When he and Simon went to Africa last year and saw the children, it was really life-altering for him," the source told People. "He just knew he had to do his part and be willing to put his money where his mouth is."

"Idol Gives Back," which also features appearances from such famous public figures as Brad Pitt and Miley Cyrus, airs Wednesday, April 9 on FOX.

Aside from the donation he made to "Idol Gives Back", Seacrest has been rumored to be dating Australia's blonde bombshell Sophie Monk after they were spotted leaving L.A. Foxtail nightclub in the same car this past weekend. Both of them were seen leaving the scene in the backseat of a car, sitting close one to another.

"Maybe they're 'just friends', but they'd be an ideal couple - it'd be like a real-life Ken and Barbie!" Hollywood gossip columnist Perez Hilton wrote on his Website.
