Klaxons' keyboardist revealed that the band won't appear at any festivals so that they can concentrate in the studio.

Following their Nationwide Mercury Prize and Shockwaves NME wins, Klaxons may be the biggest act people expect to see on live shows. However, the four-piece have rejected the very idea of appearing in festivals to concentrate on their sophomore album.
"We're doing one in Brazil, apart from that, literally, we're just going to spend the time writing and recording," said keyboardist James Righton. "From now until October we're just going to be writing and recording the album."
On the reason giving absence that long, Righton reasons that they need to have a good follow up to the 2007 "Myths of the Near Future". He added, "I think a lot of bands can give themselves two or three weeks to write and record an album, but we want to do a bit of recording, have a bit of a break, come back to it, be a bit more objective about it, and then start again."
