It has been confirmed that the fourth official single from Avril Lavigne's "The Best Damn Thing" album is the title track. The single is the follow up to "Hot" that was released in October last year. Lavigne also put "Innocence" on the radio this month but it is not confirmed to be a single.

According to a press release, the music video for "The Best Damn Thing" will be shot soon and her older brother Matthew who made a cameo as a bass player in her "Girlfriend" music video will star in this clip also. "I like to put my brother and sister in videos," she said.

There has been much hype surrounding Lavigne's upcoming tour to support this album. Beside opting the pink theme, the singer who notoriously was known to opt dark and goth, promises dances and pop supporting acts. Jonas Brothers reportedly are added alongside Boys Like Girls to join her in the tour.

The Canadian singer also revealed that she will bring her family in the tour bus, including husband and Sum 41 frontman, Deryck Whibley, Matthew, her mom and grandma. "It's just really nice to have someone on the road who really has your best interest at heart and someone who really cares about you," said Lavigne.

The tour will kick off March 5 in Victoria and stop at several cities in U.S. before moving to European territories. "I've got a big stage. I've got stairs, and I'm coming out of the stage, and I got these LED screens behind me. I just wanted the show to be more showy. I wanted to take it to the next level," Lavigne said on what to expect in the shows.
