Toni Collette has given birth to her first child, a baby girl, it has been confirmed.
The Australian actress who announced her pregnancy back in July last year gave birth to daughter Sage Florence Galafassi, her first child with her husband, Dave Galafassi, in Sydney on Wednesday, January 9.
"Both mother and baby are very well and very happy," a spokeswoman confirmed in a statement.
Collette, best known for her roles in such films, as "The Sixth Sense" (1999), "Muriel's Wedding" (1994), "In Her Shoes" (2005) and "Little Miss Sunshine" (2006), has been married to Galafassi since January 11, 2003. The newborn baby is the first child for both of them.
